• Both Google Reader and Bloglines Allow One to Email the Blog.
• Bloglines Allows One to Sort the Posts as Either Newest First or Oldest First.

I tend to favor Bloglines over Google Reader, but your post has opened my eyes to some positives about Google Reader, specifically that it allows you to mark the post read, right on the actual post.
I also favor Google reader. Starring favorites and sharing notes are great options.
